Nothing personal, Alex, but I have a few questions for you . . . and this time, I want ANSWERS!
The showdown on top of Sacred Mountain is over. Emily is herself again (or at least she thinks so). But what exactly happened up there and why? And what has happened to the others who were up there? Emily gets the opportunity to grill Alex Bancroft, and this time she’s not going to let go. I’ve been giving myself a bit more freedom with illustrations lately, partly to offset the scarcity of non-chapter posts in recent weeks.
Well, having then read the chapter, I thought the characters should be reversed. I’d taken it as Alex being questioned, but it seemed more appropriate to be Emily, since she was in bed (in chair=in bed). Do I make sense? Perhaps not.
And she also thought she was on fire . . .
See. Reverse the characters and all is well. I still like the illustration.
